Your Labour Candidate for Weaponness & Ramshill Division
Coastal towns have been savaged by austerity measures and many have not recovered from the credit crunch of a decade ago. Voting Labour at the forthcoming election really can make a difference. Rich Maw
STANDING UP FOR SCARBOROUGH
Hi, I’m Rich Maw, and a proud Scarborian. I’ve lived here all my life and raised three wonderful sons together with my fabulous wife, Claire. I love this town. But it needs support. Local government cutbacks over the previous decade have proved difficult for coastal towns such as ours. Our Councillors must be prepared to fight for every penny. I will fight to retain services at Scarborough Hospital, to invest in green tech and challenge those who do not see Scarborough as a priority.
As a professional photographer I have travelled the globe, focussing my eyes on the world’s leaders, the rich and the powerful. Through my camera lens I’ve seen many politicians promise the earth and go on to deliver nothing. I believe that politics works best when it comes from the grassroots. That’s why I will work with honesty and for all the diverse residents of Weaponness & Ramshill.
I’m delighted to have been selected as Labour Party candidate in Weaponness & Ramshill for May’s local elections. Coastal towns have been savaged by austerity measures and many have not recovered from the credit crunch of a decade ago. Voting Labour at the forthcoming election really can make a difference.
If you are fed up with the Tories, vote for a hard working Labour councillor, who will listen to your concerns and demand more for Scarborough.
