My first connection to the area was many years ago when my family and I stayed with friends at Suffield on holiday. This became a yearly event and when my husband and I retired we moved to Scarborough as we felt it was our natural home. I really want Scalby and the Coast to have good local bus services so people can live in this beautiful area and have work/travel choices. I can work for this through election to the NYCC. Currently I am treasurer to both the local Labour Party and Friends of the Old Railway (Cinder Track).
