I’m deputy leader of Scarborough Borough Council, and portfolio holder for Economy, Communities and Commercial.  I also represent the council on several outside bodies: British Destinations, the Creative Industries Centre Trust, North Yorkshire Police and Crime Panel, Scarborough Museums Trust, Scarborough Theatre Trust Ltd, and the Welcome to Yorkshire Partnership.

I also represent Falsgrave and Stepney as their county councillor.
