I’ve been a member of Scarborough Borough Council since 1991. I’m now chair of the Planning and Development Committee. I am also a county council and leader of the county Labour group. I have lived in the Northstead area for most of my life, and am very much aware of local residents’ needs and concerns: poor bus services, speeding traffic, and a lack of affordable homes.
